About Restaurant Baton Rouge Complexe Desjardins

Bâton Rouge is named after the red glowing wooden logs that were used to fire up the original ovens when our first location opened its doors in the Montreal area in 1992. While building codes and fire safety regulations motivated us to modernize our ovens, the chef at each Bâton Rouge restaurant continue, to this day, to cook the old fashioned way.

Job description

Baton Rouge Restaurant located in complexe Desjardins Montreal, is currently seeking a full-time cook!

As part of our team, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Apply quality standards, hygiene, health and safety procedures as established by the restaurant.
  • Demonstrate creativity, rigor and consistency
  • Ensure the quality of served ingredients and dishes.
  • Fill and ensure stock rotation of raw materials.
  • Any task assigned by the administration of Restaurant Baton Rouge complexe Desjardins.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of general or vocational secondary studies (DES / DEP) or equivalent
  • Years of experience related to employment: 2 Years of experience in gastronomy
  • Bilingual English / French mandatory
  • Mastery of sauces manufacturing techniques, appetizers and desserts
  • Capable of ensuring production
  • Ability to carry out his superior guidance
  • Job status: permanent
  • Job Type: Full Time
